Near Fellows road these bees were quite fiesty! They are very special black bees(german bees) and I was Very careful during this removal, and they are doing well today. The genes carried in my truck yesterday are priceless, and the customer got all the honey she wanted. The bees had made so much though that I will be able to give away 20 lbs. today to folks who NEED it. Honey used to be only given as a gift, back when beekeeping was treated with the respect it deserved.Did you know that SOME folks who do what I do SELL the honey from the removals they do?tShame on them, this is against the LAW, yes the state law forbids this, watch out where you buy your honey!
Here are some colonies I took out to a small farm close by my Alvin home. The owners found me through the internet and now they have bees for the garden. Good for all, and the farmers get 10% of the honey produced here!
The Alvin apiary is providing honey for the Zelko Bistro in the heights. I am glad to be working with folks who care about the community. The bees are happy about this too!I am sure!
A photo of one of the queens we saw that day. Sometimes the students teach me too! I always am ready to learn new things, and enjoy sharing what I know about bees. The video of this is on my u-tube channel.
Heres a photo of the class I teach for Round Rock Honey Co. on Saturdays. My Houston apiary is a good place to learn about bees, everyone had a good time and we saw 3 different queens yesterday.
Thats right..now I will RELOCATE wasps. All of these queens and workers were safely moved to my place in Alvin. I did put several videos of this on my u tube channel-jenniferjoscott2bee- lots to see there. This is the lower nest-beautiful in my eyes.
