Two story roof
Here I am camera in hand, taking a photo of myself up on this roof yesterday. This was a difficult job for many reasons. The bees spent the night in my back bedroom and will be hived this morning as it was very cold last night, and I will not risk injury to the queen or chilling of the brood. This time of year it is essential that I put enough honey back in the hive for the bees to survive on in the winter. Sometimes people do not understand this and conflict may result, so I will be clear now, when I ask for some of the honey for me- it is not just for me. It is for the bees to eat during the cold winter, the neighbor who is caring for my daughter whileI am working late, or the guy with the gas station who sells tacos too. I also GIVE some to former customers who are now friends and return the favor by providing another apiary site for me & home for Bessie the goose. They and their families NEVER pay me for this honey. OTHER companies DO SELL honey out of houses. I NEVER DO>when you buy my honey it is from my hives only.
