Honeyflow is on!
Working in the Alvin apiary, I am pulling honey to make room for more brood area for my bees. Goldenrod is blooming here and it smells great out in the apiary. I will be going to Nawara farm in Richmond and also Gundermann farm in Glen Flora in the next few days to extract honey from those hives also. I am always careful to only take the excess and leave plenty for brood rearing and winter survival.
