Teaching about beekeeping

I will be teaching classes at the Japhet Creek apiary starting this weekend. On the 17th I will teach on Natural beekeeping from the book by Ross Conrad. That class is for Urban Harvest the others are through Round rock honey co. and groupon. I am looking forward to them.  This is the rainbow beehive, a relocation job from a few weeks ago.
The vent pipe behind the hive was under the comb when I opened the wall space. Thats why it is shaped as it is.

Thanks for teaching the beekeeping class today. I have a much greater appreciation of bees now than I did yesterday... and I didn't get stung in the process!

Great Bee class on the 10th of December. I have always loved bees and now have a deeper understanding about their lives and the work it takes to care for them. Looking forward to hearing about more classes, Jennifer! Thanks a bunch!
