The real queen of Gundermanns is Joan, but she is not in this picture. When I talked to her on the phone today she said that now the queen is Stacie Gundermann, Garrett's wife, Joan is retired now and passed the reins on to the 4th generation of farmers. Here is the queen bee from the strawberry greenhouse. I gave this hive a frame with pollen & honey to boost them up, also gave them a bunch of queenless bees that were in need of a home. All doing well now in this nice warm environment. The queen bee is on the top of the frame in this shot.
