Lots of times if a colony is small I give them a couple of frames of nice drawn out comb to help them along, although I will soon run out and they will get wax foundation then. Now have 21 new colonies at the Alvin home apiary, and three more sitting here waiting for another beekeeper to pick up, and my four from the heights- putting on weight now, honeyflow is on. Good times for the bees here in Brazoria county.
