It happens at sunset on certain days. It is an amazing thing to see. They spiral downward in a circular motion to roost in the wild areas around buffalo bayou and surrounding neighborhoods.

They almost look like they are in a bird tornado! Very cool. I fledged 131 martins at my colony this year.
